Community Partnership

The Friends of Hempfield Park is a group of local volunteers, appointed by the Township Board of Supervisors, who work to support our parks, promote recreational opportunities, and highlight the positive impact that parks and recreation have on making Hempfield Township a great place to live, work, and play.

Mission

The Friends of Hempfield Parks intends to work to enhance and assure the quality of life of Hempfield Township residents and those who travel into the Township by providing a diversity of safe, accessible, culturally based, family-oriented, well-maintained and protected, economically responsible and strategically located park and recreation resources.

Vision

A vibrant, connected community where accessible, high-quality parks and recreation opportunities enrich the lives of all residents and inspire future generations of supporters.
